Mounted on the non-drive rear wheels, the used MC-440 tires gave good (almost snappy) grip on dry pavement. During wet conditions tho, the rear wheel MC-440 tires gave up traction before the (slightly larger) drive tires on the front lost traction. In essence, the Accent, usually with under-steer, developed over-steer. I prefer over-steer, which is easier to correct. At 28,000 miles of wear, the MC-440's have about 10,000+ miles of wear remaining, real pleasure for the little I paid.

Worthless in more than 1/2 inch of hard snow. Literally 1/2 will get you stuck, baby them, rev them, anywhere in between will produce the same results. Poor on ice too. A hockey puck has more traction.
