Bought these tyres to go to the Austrian Alps and had them on over the winter. No snow in the Alps but getting there through germany and coming back had to get through as foot pf snow. Then we had snow galore iN England. The car didn't get stuck once, grip was excellent apart from on ice-no studs so what do you expect. The car felt very safe and handled well. Excellent for snow and slush-a very good tyre. The rough tread does mean the tyre is slightly nosier but to be honest in an older diesel car it's hardly a concern. They were definitely worth the outlay. Worth buying another set of wheels for summer and having summer 'wheels and tyres' and winter ones.

Fantastic winter tire. The best I've every had. Superior to the Conti 810's I had before. Very high comfort level, very low noise level and excellent grip in snow. Strong in dry and wet for a winter tire. Much more comfotable than summer tires
