These are really good in winter, even with no snow or ice they are much better than performance summer tyres on cold damp roads, but add sheet ice or snow into the mix and you will be astounded at how they aren't bothered about the weather at all. 12" of snow, sheet ice, steep slippery hills, 5" of snow in a grassy field - none of it could stop me with these tyres on. If used in the summer they are not so good in the wet as summer tyres, and they wear quicker, but otherwise exemplary.

Put these tyres on my wife's car at the beginning of last winter. When the snow came and it did, believe me (we live north of Aberdeen in the country), the transformation was amazing. We have driven 'good' 4x4's for years, this being the first winter without. The little Yaris went places I would have not previously thought possible. Surefooted and giving great confidence in snow and ice. I highly recommend these tyres.

Mine was the ONLY rear wheel drive car to get out of the estate in the snow last year. Amazing grip in snow and slush.

Excellent tyre, six months hard driving in the west of Irelandon probably some of the worst roads in Europe! The grip on fresh snow was terrific allowing me to go as I pleased. I would put them on again next winter. Very pleased customer. Well done Nokian.
