snow traction is awesome - WRG2's on Mondeo have climbed the hill to my home in Scotland when 4x4's have failed, yet handling on both wet and dry roads is excellent.

Best tire I ever had on this vehicle. First set were Dunlop "Sport" - AWFUL, started "cupping" at less than 3,000 kilometres and had to be replaced under warranty, next set were Goodyear "ResponsEdge" - good but took multiple metal shrapnel pieces in short time requiring early replacement, and then the immediate set before these were Toyo "Versado" which were VERY quiet, decent traction in all conditions BUT poor treadwear despite claims to the contrary. Thus, I looked at Continental and Nokia (would look at the Yokohama "W.Drive" now too) before putting these Nokia WRG2 on, GREAT tire! This was the BEST tire I had on this car during my ownership. Finally hit a tire that worked with the car on the 4 th set. Unfortunately, traded the GS 4 months and 10,458 kilometres later. These tires were EXCLLENT in slush, rain, snow and dry. Braking capabilities were amazing. Admittedly, I found them a bit noisier after the "Versados" and the steering - until I became comfortable with an ALL WEATHER tire, was a bit sluggish by contrast to the previous tires BUT, once I adjusted to the "feel", I could move the GS around on the road BETTER than with any of the previous tires on and ALWAYS felt like I was "glued" to the road. Highly recommend this tire. In fact, I am looking at putting a set on 2 cars now, my new Lexus HS 250h and another new car. Buy a set and drive them - YOU WILL BE IMPRESSED!!!!
