Good tyres, definitely better than both the previous Eagle F1 GSD2 and GSD3, also better than Continental CSC2 and Toyo Proxes T1s/T1R. Zero tramlining compared to previous Eagle F1 V-grooved tyres, much lower noise levels yet same grip. However, looks too chunky compared to similar size tyres from other brands (i.e your alloys will look smaller) although there is a generous amount of rim protection provided. Heavy tyre, but 99% of people won't notice this anyway.

I cant rate this tyre high enough! It offers huge levels of grip in dry weather. seems to have very stiff sidewalls so very little flex meaning steering response is excellent, yet ride comfort is not compromised. Wet weather handling is outstanding, gives you total confidence to drive at speed through standing water and offers plenty of feedback during cornering. very progressive breakaway in the wet and dry. Wear rate is excellent considering it offers almost identical levels of grip in the dry as tyres such a Yokohama Paradas which wear out before you've left the tyre fitting bay, its amazing they dont wear much quicker. Another plus point is theyre consistently £10-20 cheaper per tyre than continentals, so why would you buy anything else?
