I have these tires on 3 vehicles, Mazda 2, BMW M Roadster, Jag S-type R. I first came upon the tires around 2004. They had a pattern that appeared to shed water in the wet, and a treadwear rating that indicated a softer dry compound that would allow high traction on dry. These are not winter tires and not recommended for snow/ice conditions. So far, the tires have exceeded my wear expectations and offer truly great performance for wet and dry conditions. They excel in the dry. They are harder to find because the price point is so low compared to other brands, the other brands cannot compete, so fewer retailers carry them. Can't be beat for cost and performance.
