I wanted a tire that had a harder compound so i could withstand some "abuse" from an overpowered car. These have about twice the treadwear rating than most tires of the same size from other brands. That being said, they are a little loud but for the price its totally acceptable.

I drove my 08 eclipse with these tires right in the middle of the blizzard of 2011 Chicago...they worked like magic!! they tend to spin on wet pavement but nothing too serious. love these tires and they look good as well.
