27.05.2023fromDick E
Long distance motorway driving mainly. No excessive speed, braking or other maneuvering. Little recent experience of real winter conditions.
30.03.2020fromDaniel
Perfect tyres for this country, I am not worrying about winters and raining summer, tyres working superb all season. Quiet and comfortable
18.01.2019fromMaz
Initially not that impressed but after an adjustment period/ bedding in found the tyre to be very consistent in almost all conditions. Only slightly let down in tight roundabout wet conditions (has a tendency to go into very slight understeer) but not always. Tyre performance seems very sensitive to maintaining the correct/ recommended tyre pressures. In recent days the temperature has dropped to just about freezing where these tyres have really started to show their winter biased abilities. Great grip and response ind dry and cold wet conditions. One worthy point to add to potential purchasers is that I thought I had purchased the "seal inside" version but had not. This stock of old and new by tyre suppliers is frustrating. Other than that I would recommend the tyre for the sensible non sporty driver.

I've done around 8500 miles so far in mostly poor weather , very good grip in all winter conditions and mild conditions. Good all rounder.

Good grip on wet and dry roads. Reasonable grip on snow and icy roads. Noisy on dry roads. Fuel consumption has increased. All in all decent tyres.
07.04.2024fromHarry
Incredibly capable tyre for all conditions, but my experience on the roads in West Yorkshire will probably dictate that I don't purchase these tyres again as they are too soft on the sidewall, they do need some sort of protective band. The roads a terrible around Haworth for potholes, and in this case I could not dodge one and it has ripped the sidewall and damaged the rim, rendering the tyre scrap.

When I bought the car in September last year it had recently been fitted with Kumho Ecsta PS71. These were quite skippy on the wet roads despite being marketed as a good performer in wet conditions. Since fitting the CrossClimate 2's I have had far better grip in the wet and winter conditions. We have had loads of rain, flooded roads then ice and then a week of snow. These tyres give confidence in these conditions and help improve the safety of your drive in those conditions. Will buy again.

When I bought my BMW 3 series I had off brand summer tyres on it. I bought Michelin Crossclimate 2 tyres for it and noticed the difference in the handling on dry roads immediately. The car was much firmer and secure on the road when driving at speed. When driving in the torrential wet I found these tyres to struggle a bit but general rain fall they are fine. Took a year and a half before I got serious snow to test them in. I had to drive home 30 miles on rural roads at 5am with no snow tracks to help and to make things harder I was in a rear wheel BMW. These tyres handle it perfectly, they are incredible in snow. Finally, I am a year and a half/ 10000 miles into them and they easy have another 7K/8K worth of miles in them. 5 stars all round, I'm buying them again no question.
24.04.2022fromLen
Grip on wet roads is excellent. No snow since purchase, so can only estimate it as very good. Comfortable ride, but slightly noisier than a regular tyre. Car handles very well on the Crossclimates.

Fulda all season tyres – a brand you can trust

Fulda has been producing tyres for over a century, and has established itself as one of the most popular brands in the German tyre industry. It now stands as part of the Goodyear group, meaning its reputation for quality and value for money is also backed by the resources and facilities of one of the biggest tyre brands in the world.

The Fulda all season tyres to look at:

The SportControl all season tyres offers confident sport handling on both wet and dry roads, and is designed for high performance cars. It offers controlled sports driving, meaning you will enjoy precise and confident handling alongside short braking distances even in wet conditions. The design will also lower your fuel costs and minimise CO2 emissions. You will be able to drive with real peace of mind, with a smooth and quiet ride that won’t take a huge toll on the condition of the tyre.

As for Fulda all season tyres for SUV drivers, the 4x4 Road tyre offers quiet and effortless comfort with extra grip for a safe, secure drive. It is built with the modern SUV driver in mind, aiming to deliver the ride comfort you need at a price that makes sense. And the extra grip comes in when you need it most, meaning you can rest safe in the knowledge that you have total control when you need it. Add to that enhanced damage resistance, and you have a smart package at an affordable price.

The benefits of all season tyres:

 • All season tyres offer consistent traction with the road in both warmer and colder temperatures.
 • You will get good traction in more difficult surfaces like light snow and mud.
 • You won’t have to change your tyres every time the season changes.

Fulda all season tyres are the epitome of German efficiency

At www.mobilemech-shop.co.uk we know that real quality often comes at a prohibitive price. With that in mind, we applaud the German ingenuity that goes into Fulda’s tyres to ensure the quality stays high but the price stays low.
