Its the first time I&#39;ve tried Metzeler on the Tmax and they are good - every bit as good as the Bridgestones and Michelins I&#39;ve had before. They felt slightly odd at first - very sensitive to steering inputs, but I soon got used to the slightly different feel. Grip in wet and dry is excellent and general feel and handling is good. Haven&#39;t ridden enough to know how long they will last yet.

Once I&#39;ve had a scary moment such as a slip with any tire I lose my confidence and switch. So far this tyre hasn&#39;t let me down once.
