Feels solid and well placed on road, grip good no snow yet to assess but good in wet.

Initially nervous about changing brand from the fitted ones but needn't have worried. As with other cars we have used these on it is a huge improvement and we would buy the same again.

Probably the best tyres I have used. Comfortable and safe handling in all weather conditions here in Scotland hot summer, wet semi flooded and deep snow during the time owned. The best feature of these tyres on my vehicle is the feeling of safety and confidence with the Crossclimate + fitted
20.03.2021fromKevin Bates
I found this tire to be one of the best all round tires available. No matter the weather the car always felt sure footed. My Octavia was the Vrs model so had plenty of horsepower to transmit, and the Cross Climates made easy work of doing that. High speed driving was safe and quiet as was cornering. A fabulous tire! Only regret is the limited sizes because I can't get them to fit my Fabia Monte Carlo Estate else I would be running them on that as well.

Kumho tyres always seem very good in all areas & at a fair price. We went for the All Season Solus as my partner is a care worker & out in literally all conditions.

Second time I have bought these tyres. Just changed car and it has bigger wheels but will buy again if they come in right size

Most of my driving is on country roads with varying conditions dry , wet , muddy and in winter snow and ice thrown into the mix . These tyres have handled everything and performed great for the price. Have had branded tyres before fitting these which cracked and perished and did not last as long .

In damp or wet on corners they handle very well but certain tarmac can feel it slide abit but not enough for you to panic but enough for you to know to back off Dry does very well like Midrange tyres depending what power car you got of course But got them on very cheap offer compare to other midrange all season they around £150 and I got theses from £130 to £98 if they wasn't on offer I wouldn't of brought them and if they needed replacing would I buy them again depends they don't go higher then £100 otherwise I get midrange tyres

These are a thoroughly dependable tyre and the Expert 2 (and the later Expert 3) are superb tyres. In addition to the stated vehicle I have a set on my wife's 2014 Audi A3 and our 'spare car' a 2009 Fiat Panda 4x4. They are all on all year round and have acceptable wear even in hot summers
06.02.2026fromJim Hutchinson
What makes these tyres stand out is their performance on very wet roads or standing water.
27.02.2025fromMichael Payne
I am a careful driver. Mostly urban with some motorway driving. The tyres I chose are all season. Whilst I live in Edinburgh City, when snow falls I need to drive 800m and up 2 hills in order to get to a road that is kept clear and often there are cars and a bus strewn across the road. Amazing but true. These tyres have allowed me to bypass these cars and proceed to the swept roadway. 2 times this winter. Scarcely believable that people don't know how to drive in the snow. They are sure footed in frost too.
22.01.2025fromMr Neil Richard Parnham
We have owned this car for almost 11 years now and the last 9 years have been on firstly Uniroyal MS+77 205/55 R16 91H and then for the last 3 years on AllSeason Expert 2 which is a vastly improved tyre. The latter is so much quieter and returns improved fuel consumption and I believe better grip in wintry conditions

Star Performer all season tyres – the high-tech approach

Star Performer all season tyres come from a company that places the focus on its technological processes, aiming to provide every driver with the perfect equipment to get the best out of their vehicle. The company uses sophisticated computer simulations that have become famous in the industry for achieving extremely high levels of safety in the tested products. The research and development team at Star Performer produce innovative tread patterns to give all their tyres different properties. Take a look at the Star Performer all season tyres range and see what they have to offer you.

The Star Performer all season tyres we love:

The SPTS AS is the successor to the AS, and boasts several developments on the technologies of its predecessor. It is officially approved for safe use in the snow, while also scoring well on fuel efficiency and handling in wet conditions. It achieves a great ratio between performance and price, meaning it is a very affordable product that performs to a similar level as tyres that cost considerably more.

If you’re after year-round performance for your van, then the SPTV is a good way to go. When your van is key to your business, and time is money, you want a tyre that gives you good fuel efficiency and reliability. The SPTV is an all season tyre that has low rolling resistance, meaning low fuel consumption. It also has great credentials for its wet performance, and the strong shoulders mean it can handle heavier loads and give great stability on any surface.

The EU tyre labelling that qualifies Star Performer all season tyres:

 • Fuel efficiency is the top-left section of the EU tyre label. It grades how fuel efficient a tyre is from a high of A to a low of G.
 • The wet grip classification is at the top-right of the label. This uses the same grading scale as the fuel efficiency section, telling how well a tyre performs on wet surfaces.
 • The other section ranks a tyre’s noise output from 1 (poor) to 3 (good).

Star Performer all season tyres use the German efficiency of Delticom AG

At www.mobilemech-shop.co.uk we can’t debate the brilliance of German ingenuity, and Delticom’s Star Performer tyres offer you a tremendous amount of technology for such a low price.
